The Mechanicsville, VA Build Team
Mr. B. was unable to safely move in and out of his apartment complex. He relies on his caregiver, (also his sister) to safely bring him to and from his thrice-weekly dialysis. The R.A.M.P.S. Team braved 28 degree weather to build a new ramp for Mr. B.
The Highland Springs, VA Build Team
Mr. C. suffers from cerebral palsy, making walking hazardous. He recently took a fall, resulting in a complex fracture of his leg.
The Farmville, VA Build Team
Ms. B. suffers from a number of maladies and recently came home from the hospital, unable to walk. Thanks to the newly formed R.A.M.P.S. Club at Hampden-Sydney College, she can safely roll up and down into the front door of her home.
Ramp of the month
Each month, R.A.M.P.S. recognizes the individual R.A.M.P.S. teams who have done an excellent job in their community outreach through the R.A.M.P.S. program. This month we'd like to congratulate: The Mechanicsville, VA Build Team

To support the R.A.M.P.S. effort to build wheelchair ramps for the elderly and disabled in our club areas, please consider a tax-deductible donation.
In addition to improving the quality of life for elderly and disabled wheelchair-bound individuals, R.A.M.P.S. makes a significant economic impact on the community. By helping these people stay in their homes longer, R.A.M.P.S. reduces the housing cost of recipients who otherwise might have been moved to Medicare or Medicaid-funded facilities.
