Daniel is a 27 year-old man who was referred to us by his case worker at International Rescue Committee. Daniel lives with his sister and his mother, his caregivers, in Henrico County. He does not have use of his legs and is in a wheelchair full-time. RampsRVA and IRC worked together to make his build a priority, and the great volunteers from Kinsale Insurance Company, led by Board members August Berling (from Kinsale) and Will Stettinius, built his ramp on 11/20/22. He will now be able to enjoy life outside of his house, and to get to doctor’s appointments and other necessary activities safely and with ease.
