Story
Lettie is only 57, yet has had numerous strokes and now relies on an electric wheelchair for mobility. When we asked her husband what information we could share with our student builders prior to build day, he told us his biggest worry was her ability to get out of the home in an emergency, particularly in case of a fire.
Our builders from CSEI took no time to get Lettie’s wheelchair ramp up so she could roll out. We learned it has been 5 years since she has been out of the house. She was so grateful to be out in the sunlight!
