Story

Chelsea, who is under 10 years old, and her mother, Stacy, both have a form of muscular dystrophy which results in prolonged periods of muscle contraction.  The result may be difficulty walking, letting go of a doorknob, slurred speech, or temporary locking of the jaw.  This hereditary condition makes life challenging for this mother/daughter team, but with the new ramp, life will be made just a little bit easier.

The Benedictine Team made short work of this ramp, and while it is a straight and fairly short ramp, it will be life changing for this family.  Extra thanks to August Berling, our Board Member who oversaw the build on a rainy, chilly day!
