Story

James was pleased to meet our Collegiate School build team.   He is a stroke victim and is confined to his bed or to a wheelchair.  His new ramp gives him a wealth of freedom.

Thank you to RAMPS Board Member Jim Dowd for his support at this build location.

Update 2014:  The St. Christopher team helped us out with annual inspections during X-Term.  We found James’ ramp had been damaged by falling tree limbs, which also had shifted the ramp.  In about 15 minutes , the students had replaced six rails, moved the ramp back into position, tightened all the nuts and bolts, and refurbished the ramp with new paint.

At this time, we learned James’ brother had lived with them briefly after falling ill.  He moved in with James so he would have a ramp while he was in a wheelchair.
