2005 - 2025,Twenty Years of Giving Mobility and Independence
2025 has been an exciting year for ramp access made possible by students (RampsRVA).
We are celebrating twenty years of giving freedom to elderly and disabled wheelchair users. As of this writing, the success of this organization is proven by the 675 ramps that have been provided for those in need. And the organization is still going strong, with a great board, staff, volunteers, and supporters.
But the challenge continues as there are more people requesting ramps every week.
A big shout out to everyone the supports our great organization!
RAMPSRVA featured on WWBT'S Call 12 segment and WTVR'S Virginia This Morning
We have been featured on a Call 12 segment ( WWBT) as well as Virginia This Morning (WTVR). As more people learn about us ramp requests have increased.
In October, 2023, RampsRVA was the featured story in the North of the James magazine.
On the cover is one of our amazing ramp recipients and students from the Deep Run HS ramps club.
