Sunday 2/9 was another life-changing ramp build day! The super strong all-girls team of student volunteers from Freeman High School changed the life of Mrs. M, an 82-year old Henrico resident who is unable to walk due to back surgeries and frequent falls that resulted in broken bones. Her daughters share in care-giving duties, and it was impossible for them to maneuver the steps safely.Even though the Freeman team was made up of mostly first-timers, they completed the ramp like pros, with dedication and hard work, and Mrs. M made a successful test run, cheered on by her son and daughter. Thank you, Freeman club for giving the gift of mobility and safety to this family.
