Mr. Z applied for a ramp over two years ago. When RampsRVA went to his home to take measurements, he had decided to give his spot on the waiting list to someone who might need it more. He had suffered a stroke and was hoping to regain mobility as he worked with his therapists. Several months ago he re-applied for a ramp because he was not able to meet his original goals, and was in the process of ordering a scooter to help him get around. He is now completely unable to maneuver the stairs and needs assistance navigating around his house, where he lives in Chesterfield with his wife.On Sat 12/7 the all-girls power team (!) from Trinity built Mr. Z a ramp. After a slow start, the ramp was completed in under two hours. Mr. Z and his wife were very appreciative and celebrated his new-found independence and safety.
