"Ramps alleviate the emotional strain of mobility challenges, enhancing confidence and self-esteem. Installing a ramp can bring comfort and safety to individuals recovering from medical conditions, providing a newfound sense of independence".

On Sunday, nine Tucker student volunteers gave up their morning to build a ramp for Ms. P, a 74 year old Chesterfield resident who is a recent amputee. She lives with her son who is also her caregiver. She has not been able to leave the house safely since her surgery.She and her son were thrilled with her new independence and feeling of freedom and safety as she took her test run!Thank you Vindhya, Navyasree, Sasmita, Christina, Isabelle, Rosi, Shweta, Nora, and Chadwick!
